07 May Carpal Tunnel Relief: How-To Video for Easy Stretches
I am currently taking a 4 part class on massage for carpal tunnel and the relief of symptoms… so I have carpal tunnel on the brain. I found this great video which demonstrates super simple stretches you can do at your desk to help defend against and alleviate the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by compression on the median nerve inside the carpal tunnel at your wrist. Either the tunnel has become too small, or the contents (tendons and median nerve) have become to large due to inflammation. This can cause numbness, tingling, pain and loss of grip strength in the your hand. Regular massage and essential oil treatments can be helpful in reducing the symptoms of carpal tunnel… and be aware that these symptoms can also be caused by compression on the median nerve all along the nerve path from the neck to the hand. Massage is most beneficial when applied all along the nerve path.
I would love to help you if you are struggling with carpal tunnel symptoms.
