26 Oct 30 Yummy Comfy Fall #slowfood Recipes
“When the table is full, heavy with platters, wine glasses scattered, napkins twisted and crumpled, forks askew, dessert plates scattered with crumbs and icing, candles burning down low – it’s in those moments that I feel a deep sense of God’s presence and happiness. I feel honored to create a place around my table, a place for laughing and crying, for being seen and heard, for telling stories and creating memories.”

And just like that it’s fall. The summer is gone, too cold for the beach… the backyard pool “officially” closed with the boys teeth-chattering exclamation that, “it’s TOO cold mom!” School is in full swing and the holidays are right around the corner. With the slight chill in the air (this is Houston after-all) – more likely, it’s just not hot as Hades, but with the fullness of the week – jobs, commutes, school, sports, and on and on – I like to slow it down on Sunday afternoons. Find those recipes that take all afternoon or at least feel like they did. Here are a collection of recipes I’ve pinned together that I’m looking forward to trying this fall.
~ Enjoy!
