OpMom is short for Operation Mom, and is a social community for moms. In addition to offering web-based organization, it was created to offer moms a safer and more useful alternative to the catch-all social networking sites and traditional media outlets. There are no gimmicky reward systems, annoying pop-up ads or confusing navigation. Every mom is an expert in her own right, and OpMom incorporates the collective wisdom of thousands of mothers of all ages, sharing advice and ideas around the world’s largest coffee table.

So, I HAD to check it out! And when I saw HappyKatie was a new member – well I knew it was worth sticking around for a bit. I set up a profile – invited some of my sisters…
It is really cool… or just somp’in else to do? The jury is still out… but I am interested in supporting a local online startup thats about women, for women, by women.
